Fond Farewells to Farleigh Staff leaving us this Summer

It is always sad to say goodbye and this year we bid a fond farewell to several long-serving and well-loved members of staff.

It is always sad to say goodbye and this year we bid a fond farewell to several long-serving and well-loved members of staff.

After 28 years at Farleigh, serving as Head of RS and Junior Boarding Houseparent - and caring for literally hundreds of young boarders - Miss Liz Redmond is retiring.

Mrs Gail Everson, who has provided over 20 years of dedicated support in Learning Support, is leaving the department but will continue to assist Fr Simon in his role as Headmaster.

Mrs Victoria Rogerson, Head of Science for the past eight years and Head of Year 8, is moving on to St Edward’s, Romsey, where she will take up the role of Head of Science.

After 10 years at Farleigh, Mrs Abi Watkins, current Head of Year 5, will be relocating to Devon with her family.

Mr Kevin Hession, who has spent eight years bringing the Farleigh stage to life as Head of Drama and Assistant Houseparent, is moving to Edinburgh to join Fettes College.

Finally, Miss Sarah Hardy, our Kindergarten Coordinator for the past nine years, will be leaving Farleigh to pursue new opportunities.

We thank them all for their outstanding contribution to Farleigh, wish them every happiness and success in the future and hope to see them in the future.
