The Farleigh Society was established in the late 1990s for former pupils of Farleigh School, to enable them to forge life-long links between each other and the School. All pupils who leave the school are warmly invited to join the Farleigh Society which exists to support and connect past pupils throughout their lives.
Farleigh Society members benefit from: a lively programme of reunions and social events to keep past pupils in touch with each other and the school; sporting and interest groups; mentoring, professional groups and networking events to support their careers; and access to Farleigh Connected, where past pupils can network with each other as well as the wider Farleigh community including current and past parents and staff.
Please contact the Alumni Relations Coordinator, Caroline Popham, if you would like more information or to visit the school.

Farleigh holds a very special place in my heart as it gave me a launch pad I have benefited from in life. The school is undoubtedly a different prospect now. During my time in the 1990s the school was a vibrant 3-13 Prep school for 180 pupils. Clearly the school has grown and invested in the stunning facilities that the children enjoy, but the most important part of the school has not changed. The heart of the school remains strong, deeply rooted in its Catholic values and the fact that the children are surrounded not only with opportunities to explore their potential but also the support and care to be the best version of themselves.
It is a great privilege to have been asked to be the Chair of the Farleigh Society, which aims to connect the alumni who started life as a Merlin, Eagle, Buzzard, or Kestrel. Our intention is to provide a variety of different opportunities for this group to come together and enjoy social occasions but also to create a professional network that will benefit current Farleigh pupils as they move into an ever more competitive and changing world of employment. It is wonderful to be working closely with Farleigh Connected, bringing current and past parents and alumni together to help underpin these opportunities for the children. Now as a parent, I fully understand the joy and value that we find in our children’s education and the close bonds that we make with the schools in which our children are educated and the other parents we share this journey with. We are always looking to recruit onto the board of the Society and are very keen to hear ideas as to how we can enhance what we do, so please don’t be shy, let us know if you are keen to join or have any ideas. I hope to see you at an event soon.
As a proud alumnus of Farleigh School, where I was fortunate to journey from kindergarten all the way through, it is a pleasure to now serve as Secretary for the alumni society. Farleigh’s strong Catholic values, sense of community, and spirit of encouragement shaped my childhood, from my time as a Merlin to playing rugby and enjoying all that school life had to offer. It is especially meaningful to return to Farleigh as a parent, with my own children now beginning their journey in kindergarten and soon to be Nursery!!! I look forward to watching them grow, flourish, and create their own happy memories at the same wonderful school that gave me such a strong foundation. Come on you Merlins!
Farleigh has so many strong memories for myself and my family, as a past pupil and having three children going through the school. I loved the freedom the school gave me to get involved in the academic and sporting sides and I am proud that my children have that opportunity too. The ethos that the school has maintained is incredible and it underpins everything the staff and pupils do. The community in and around the school helps keep us all engaged in making the school experience a great one for our children. Farleigh Connected is a perfect example of this, bringing together all those who have been and are part of the school. I’m happy to be part of this process as the treasurer for the Farleigh Society.
