Our acres of cricket pitches were put to the test on Saturday 20th June for the annual Farleigh House Cricket tournament in honour of Grandparents’ Day. We welcomed generations of families, including a number of Grandparents who are also past parents, to witness plenty of exciting mixed cricket and enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea under shady trees.
Once the children had completed their games, it was the parents’ turn! A team comprised of parents from Years 3, 4 and 5 faced a team of Year 6, 7 and 8 parents in a gripping and hugely fun fixture… Thank you to everyone who played and supported a thoroughly enjoyable cricket marathon!
